Emilius Sons Incorporated has a rich history that dates back to 1941, when brothers Carl Emilius Sr. and Bill Emilius founded the company as an equipment design, fabrication, and full-service machine shop. Named in honor of their father, John Albert Emilius, the company emerged at the end of the Great Depression, a time when the nation was recovering, and Philadelphia was transitioning from its industrial powerhouse roots.

Over the decades, J.A. Emilius’ Sons expanded its services, growing from a local machine shop into a trusted partner for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. Today, we specialize in delivering custom equipment solutions, including conveyors, conveyor belting, custom machining, fabrication, and expert installation services, all tailored to meet the highest industry standards.
